About our partnership work with Let's Do Business Group
We are currently working in partnership with Let's Do Business Group and Southeast Business Boost, with ERDF funding, to provide free workshops and one to one support to people who want to become self employed or start their own business in East Sussex. Individuals can live outside the area, but must be setting up a business in the East Sussex region.
After the last very successful self employment course at Basepoint in Newhaven November 2017, we now have no spaces left on our second course at Biz Space in Lewes at the end of February 2018. If you are interested in setting up your own business and would like to come on a course, please do contact us directly as we will be able to put you on our waiting list for the next one we have planned for Newhaven in June 2018.
We are also able to offer one to one support for those not wishing to join a group, but in need of some additional help. Another exciting piece of news is that we are in the planning stages of setting up a peer to peer support group in the not so distant future, especially for individuals who have been trading for a year or two and are not sure about how to progress to the next stage. This could be anything from taking on your first employee, getting some marketing advice or accessing funds to buy a new van.
Please see below for further information about the Let's Do Business Group and the services they provide.
